WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH BUREC
From weekly meetings to signature events, BUREC offers numerous options for students to get involved. The outline below shows the how members can advance within the club and progress into leadership roles.
ANALYST TRACK
We welcome all Boston University students to join as analysts and attend weekly general meetings. All members are encouraged to participate in the club's special events, including frequent networking sessions, speaker panels, office visits, and our annual case competition.
ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
After spending at least one semester as a general member, students may apply to the investment associate program, which offers structured training in Excel modeling and advanced real estate finance topics. This program helps members strengthen technical skills and gain deeper industry knowledge.
EXECUTIVE BOARD
BUREC recruits Executive Board members exclusively from the associate cohort. At the end of the academic year, associates may shadow and assist current e-board members in their roles to gain experience before applying.
The Executive Board includes the President, Senior Vice President, VP of Operations, VP of Analyst Program, VP of Associate Program, VP of Marketing, and VP of Community Relations. All members work collaboratively to oversee daily operations, coordinate events, activities and workshops, and guide the club's long-term direction.
